Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif tested positive for Covid-19, reports said on Sunday. Kartik Aaryan confirmed on Saturday that had tested positive for the virus. Aditya Roy Kapur is also reported to have tested positive.
Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan recently took to his Twitter hand to inform about his contributions towards the fight against novel coronavirus. Now, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has expessed her gratitude towards King Khan for his contribution. Well, Mamata’s love for SRK is not hidden and everyone knows how much the actor respects and adore Didi. Meanwhile, reacting to Mamata’s tweet, SRK penned a special message for her in Bengali where he mentioned that he believes that he is a part of Kolkata and even quoted Rabindranath Tagore to exlain the essence of service.

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee confirmed the news on Twitter and wrote, “Just came to know that our Brand Ambassador Shahrukh Khan has been detected covid positive. Pray fastest recovery for the superstar. Get well Shahrukh! Spring back asap! (sic).”
As per media reports. Katrina Kaif is also reported to have tested positive for Covid-19, again. The actor had in April 2021 announced that she tested positive. Katrina reportedly skipped the IIFA 2022 ceremony on Saturday, where her husband, actor Vicky Kaushal, was awarded the Best Actor Male for Sardar Udham. Katrina and Vicky were spotted together at filmmaker Karan Johar’s birthday party on May 25. Shah Rukh with wife Gauri Khan also attended the star-studded gathering at Mumbai’s Yash Raj Films studio.
Maharashtra is currently experiencing an unexpected increase in COVID-19 cases. The state’s environment and tourism minister, Aaditya Thackeray had said on June 5 that masks may be required to prevent the spread of the extremely contagious virus. In the last 24-hours alone, Maharashtra reported 4,889 cases of COVID-19. As a result, the BMC has issued an alert to Mumbai residents following a significant increase in daily new cases of COVID-19. On June 5, Mumbai reported 961 new cases and one death.

Akshay Kumar was one of the first stars to test Covid-19 positive recently. The Samrat Prithviraj actor had to miss Cannes due to the same. Recently, Kartik Aaryan also tested positive for Covid-19. The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 star couldn’t perform at IIFA 2022 for the same reason.
