The Hundred 2023
The Hundred 2023 will be broadcast live in the UK and Ireland on Sky Sports. All 68 matches will be available to watch live on Sky Sports Cricket, Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Mix. You can also watch every ball of every match on Sky Sports’ dedicated channel, Sky Sports The Hundred.
In India, the live streaming rights for The Hundred 2023 are held by FanCode. Fans in India can watch all the matches live on the FanCode app or website.
All women’s matches and a number of men’s games in The Hundred will be streamed live on the Sky Cricket YouTube channel. The BBC will broadcast 18 games live on BBC TV (BBC Two) and BBC iPlayer, consisting of 10 men’s and eight women’s matches, including both finals. All games (men’s and women’s) will be broadcast on BBC Radio 5 Live or 5 Live Sports Extra.
In Australia and Southeast Asia, Fox Sports has acquired the rights to telecast the 2023 Hundred Cricket League, the world’s first-ever 100-Ball cricket tournament, with LIVE coverage of the competition to be broadcast across Fox Sports and Fox Cricket (available on Foxtel). Kayo Sports will live stream all matches in Australia, a new digital platform in Australia to watch cricket matches online. The Foxtel App is the better option if you already have a TV subscription, while Foxtel Now is the way to go if you only want to stream Foxtel channel.
For New Zealand audiences, Spark Sport will broadcast all games from The Hundred 2023, a subscription of Spark Sport costs $24.99 per month. Last year, Spark Sport signed a four-year deal with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) for the cricket matches played in England. Spark Sport is a New Zealand sports streaming service, owned and operated by Spark.

The Hundred 2023 will be held from July 22 to August 28, 2023. The tournament will feature eight teams, each playing each other twice in the group stage. The top four teams will then progress to the knockout stages, culminating in the final on August 28.
The Hundred 2022 Format
The Hundred is a new format of cricket that was launched in 2020. Each match consists of 100 balls, with each team batting for 20 overs. The fielding team can only have five fielders outside the 30-yard circle. The Hundred is designed to be a faster and more exciting format of cricket, and it has been well-received by fans so far.
English franchise Twenty20 competition (Format)
- 100 balls per innings
- A change of ends after 10 balls
- Bowlers deliver either five or 10 consecutive balls
- Each bowler can deliver a maximum of 20 balls per game
- Each bowling side gets a strategic timeout of up to two and a half minutes
- A 25-ball power play start for each team
- Two fielders are allowed outside of the initial 30-yard circle during the power play
- Teams will be able to call timeouts, as has been the case in the Indian Premier League since 2009
- A simplified scoreboard is also proposed
