Candidates need to complete each step without which JEE Main registration will not be completed. After filling out the application form, candidates need to download and take its printout.
Step 1– JEE Main 2022 Registration
This is the first step in filling JEE Main application form. During JEE Main 2022 registration, candidates need to provide details about their name, email ID, and phone number. Candidates also need to create a log-in password of their choice which will be required for all future login. After the completion of the registration process, candidates will receive their JEE Main registration number in their email ID and mobile phone number.
Step 2– Fill JEE Main 2022 Application Form

Step 4– Pay Application Fees
Candidates need to pay the application fees online using Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Paytm Services. The fees applicable for payment will depend on the category and gender of candidates. This is the last step in filling JEE Main application form. After the successful payment of the fee, JEE Main registration 2022 will be completed. Candidates need to take a printout of their filled application form and keep it safe till the completion of the admission process.

JEE Main Application Form Correction 2022
Although it was mentioned in the information brochure that NO facility for making corrections in JEE Main 2022 application form will be provided, NTA provided the correction window from April 6 to 8 for the session 1 application form. The correction window is most likely to be opened for the second session exam post the completion of the application process.
It is however advised to candidates that they fill out the application form with utmost care. Also, in case a candidate fills out multiple application forms, the applications of all such candidates will be rejected
JEE Main Exam Pattern 2022
- JEE Main 2022 Exam is conducted in Online Mode and consists of Paper 1 and 2.
- Both the papers are computer based except for B.Arch. Drawing Paper which is pen and paper mode.
- Each correct question in JEE Main 2022 gives your Four Marks.
- Every wrong answer gives you negative marking.
- 75 Questions have to be answered by the Candidate in Paper 1 out of 90 Questions in JEE Mains 2022 February session.
- Questions from Physics, Chemistry and Math are asked in paper.
- You will get a total of 3 hours to attempt your paper.
- Paper 1 is for Maximum of 300 Marks whereas Paper 2 is for 400 Marks.
